Circles

Broken panes

Of a mansion still

Welcome in light

At its window sill

Just as it has

O’er the years

Through dreams and cheers

Love and tears;

Chills and drags,

A rainy haze

Climbers, blooms

And simmering days

Weathered walls

And crumbling towers

Parched and cooled

By fitful showers..

.

Smiling at me

Stand ageing friends three

Twilight,

Autumn leaves

And the old man-

Sion.
